Aboard AmaMagna — the largest and most luxurious river vessel sailing the Danube — you move through a landscape that changes every morning. Every day brings a new port. The Route
Passau, Germany — Your journey begins in this quietly beautiful city where three rivers meet. The baroque Old Town is compact and walkable, the cathedral extraordinary. You board in the early afternoon and meet your ship for the first time.
Regensburg, Germany — One of the best-preserved medieval cities in Germany and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guided walking tour takes in the Stone Bridge, the 12th century cathedral and streets that have barely changed in five centuries.
Kelheim & Weltenburg — The ship sails through the Weltenburg Gorge — the most dramatic stretch of river scenery on the entire Danube. At Weltenburg Abbey, Germany's oldest monastic brewery, you will taste a beer that has been brewed by monks since 1050.
Linz, Austria — The cultural capital of Upper Austria. A full day excursion carries you to Salzburg — Mozart's birthplace, the Mirabelle Gardens, one of the most beautiful baroque cities in the world. You return to Linz in the early evening for an Austrian wine tasting aboard.
Dürnstein & the Wachau Valley — The Wachau is the finest wine-growing valley in Austria and one of the most beautiful stretches of river in Europe. You arrive at dawn. The vines climb the terraced hillsides above the village. The castle where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned in 1192 still stands on the ridge above. This is the day that stays with people longest.
Vienna, Austria — A full day in one of the world's great cities. Your guided tour takes in Schönbrunn Palace and the Ring Road. The afternoon is yours entirely — coffee at Café Central, the Naschmarkt, the Graben. In the evening, an optional concert at the Vienna Philharmonic or State Opera.
Bratislava, Slovakia — A compact, charming old town with a castle that commands views over three countries. This is also the evening of your Chef's Table reservation — a private eight-course tasting menu with wine pairing, included for all suite guests.
Budapest, Hungary — The finale. Two days in one of Europe's most beautiful capital cities, moored in the heart of the city on the Danube. Your guided tour covers both Buda and Pest — the castle district, the Chain Bridge, the Great Synagogue, Heroes' Square. The second day is entirely free.
Your Suite
You are booked into a Suite Stateroom — Category S — aboard AmaMagna. At approximately 27 square metres, it is one of the largest private spaces afloat on any river in Europe.

Dining

The Restaurant serves open-seating breakfast, lunch and a four-course regional dinner with paired wines each evening. The Sun Deck Grill offers casual lunches on warm afternoons. Afternoon tea is served in the Lounge daily at 15:30 — a tradition aboard AmaMagna that should not be missed.
Your suite reservation includes one complimentary dinner at The Chef's Table — a specialty restaurant requiring advance booking, with an eight-course tasting menu and premium wine pairing. This reservation has been made for you on the evening of Day 7 in Bratislava.
